Rocks-N-Roost Off-Road Club held its annual Jeep poker run to benefit
the American Cancer Society this past Saturday. All participants travelled
the same route on-road, and then all participants were given the option of
adventuring some off-road trails and through a huge mud bog at Stink
Water Boggs in Johnsonburg.
The winning hand of this year’s Poker Run, worth $100, was held by
William Wendel. Zackery Iorfido was the raffle winner, taking home the
8000lb SmittyBilt winch. First place in the mud bog was "Kromer," owner
of Lowlife Choppers in St. Mary's Pa. His winning run stunned the crowd
and ended with a standing ovation. Adrian "Guido" Bevacqua, owner of
Stink Water Boggs, said "We are trying to bring more of these family
oriented events into the area. We made a lot of new friends and hope
everyone had a good time." BBQ chicken dinners were provided by J&D
Custom Chickens. All proceeds of the event went to The American Cancer
Society. Rocks-N-Roost would like to thank the following for their
support:
Stink Water Boggs, Joey's Bakery, R.C. Metals, Paper City Transfer, The
Old Brickyard, Bevacqua Trucking, M.I.P Productions, and everyone who showed up
to make this event a success.
